A letter is away of communication that many have used over the years...its a memory on paper.
It could be a note a way of remembering a person, place of thing.....it's a reminder u can't forget.
It could be a story of imagination, romance, and action....it's a dream come true that you can pass down.
It could be a saying that made you laugh out loud in a public place....it's a joke many can share for the rest of their lives.
It could be a text from your friend on you cell phone...it's a thing you can talk about with another.
It could be words......that express, show feeling, laughter, of a person, place, or thing, about imagination, romance or action...
what ever it is, you have to keep it forever. because more maybe want to know this, it will be passed down forever even if we tried to stop it.

Barbara Graham was INNOCENT!

Barbara Graham (June 26, 1923 – June 3, 1955) was an American who was convicted a murder. She was executed in a gas Chamber. two accomplices, Jack Santo and Emmett Perkins. Nicknamed "Bloody Babs" by the press, claimed Graham was their woman accomplice who reportedly pistol-whipped an old women cracking her skull. then suffocated her with a pillow.but this isn't true.after her execution the "Bloody Bads" were captured and were convicted, they blamed Barbara for their crime. you can even see a movie about it, "I want to Live!" is the truth, this makes my point....Wikipepia does not have all the facts but they do have some. but you have to look more in to it or your just getting garbage.

Enders game
Chapter 14 summary

Colonel Graff returns in the begining. Ender while at Eros hates Eros, and misses battleschool. At Eros he is in isolation again, but instead of everyone hating him, they are making him alone with no friends. With a new simulator Ender is learning new things, but finds it a little more easy. after telling Colonel Graff this he leaves.while Graff is gone a old man replaces him. but instead of a formal introduction, the old man locks Ender and himself in Enders room, later still in Enders room the old man attacks Ender and tells him, he is Enders teacher, "I am your enemy from now on. From now on I am your teacher"(pg.263). The old mans name is Mazer Rackham. Ender respects him.after some training from Rackham, Ender is moved to a new simulator,to command a hole fleet.Ender is still alone a tired but dosn't stop. Meanwhile Enders dreams are getting strange they are about the buggars. Later Ender is informed of his final examination in Command School. Ender wins the unfair battle by destroying the enemys planet. Used by Rackham and Graff, Ender destroyed the buggers planet completely with out knowing.
While peters "the Locke Proposal" has been accepted.

Ender's Game

i view Ender as a strong person. For all the trouble he has had to go agents and the future ones that may or will appear, "We're going to make him the best military commander in history. 'And then put the fate of the world on his shoulders."(Ch. 4). He can solve a problem faster, he is able to crack in to computer systems. And he is doing all this and he's only 6. Ender has had to fight when needed, and wins, “I have to win this now, and for all time, or I’ll fight it every day and it will get worse and worse.” (p. 7- Ender, during his fight with Stilson). Thats why i view Ender as a strong person, when almost everyone hated him, he always seemed to do what he knows himself to be, a Third.

The Way up to Heaven
by Roald Dahl.


"The Way up to Heaven" is a shocking suspense, about an old couple with a few problems in their marriage. Mrs.Foster has always been worried about being late for about everything, and her husband Mr.Foster has always made it worse for her. Mrs. Foster decides to leave her elderly husband stuck in her house elevator for six weeks, with no food or water, while she go's on a vacation to go to Paris and see her daughter, and finally be free from her husband driving her insane. When the six weeks of freedom came to and end, at home she notices a strange smell but smiles anyway and calls a man to fix the elevator. there were many times she could have went back, but she never did. this story had no red herrings to confuse the reader it kept everything in line. when the investigators came to discover the reason for Mr.Fosters death, they couldn't place Mrs. Foster as the murderer. this story of a elderly couple was very messed up, to make it more interesting and it succeeded.

Night of the Twister
By James Micheal Ullman.

"Night of the Twister" is a suspense, through out you never know what the Characters are going to do. Karen the daughter of a police officer is alone at her parents place when two escaped convicts bash through the door with guns. Karen even though she is alone and her life is in danger she stays calm, while she is tricking the convicts to believe that a she is cooperating with them.
To continue the suspense the convicts still haven't killed her and she's telling them only some parts of some of the information their asking, "she hadn't mentioned, an ancient double-barreled shotgun hanging in plain sight on the wall over the mantel in the dining room"(Pg.131). Karen Using the train tracks to scare the convicts, they ran toward the cellar pushing Karen aside, But with them not knowing about the gun she didn't mentioned, she shot at them. one died the other injured. Her knowing the train passed at a little before 10 all the time and knowing she made it out to be a twister, saved her life.

...Honey I'm home...

"Lamb To Slaughter" by Roald Dahl -the story, "lamb To Slaughter" is most definetly a suspence you never know whats going to happen..."will Mrs. Malonly ever get cought?", "what are the police going to do?". The suspense when it was introduced, appeared in the part when Mr. Malonly finally started to talk,to his wife. You wondered what was he talking about, and how was Mrs. Malonly going to take it. and when it was resolved Mr. Malonly was dead. Roald Dahl used a red herring in this story, he gave hints to what may or may not happen later in the story, it was pure poetic justice.the story "Lamb To Slaughter" is a great story and everyone should read it.

APPEALS

2. We have been reading Anne Sexton's poem, "Courage" and Rudyard Kipling's poem "If".

The poem that appeals most to me is both of them Anne Sexton's poem, "Courage" and Rudyard Kipling's poem "If...".

Anne Sexton's poem was mesmerizing with how she described Pain, Love, and showed how in a special way they make courage. But in Kipling's poem he's saying what courage should be, in his poem he's sending more of a message to the reader like, "you can face any challenge, if your willing to fight", Anne Sexton's describing what it feels like. Together they create different points of view from a life choice to how it could happen. Thats why i could never truely choose between them because they both appeal to me in different ways which are important.

WHY "IF...."

"If" by Rudyard Kipling which we studied in class.

Do I agree with Kipling's message?....yes because he is telling everyone that they can be a better person,and its true because no matter who you are you can face any challenge that comes your way, it's just if your willing to fight the challenge.the statement that is meaningful to me is:

"If you can make one heap of all your winnings and risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,....." Why?..... because it says to me that you should take risk, do what you believe in,take a chance.or even make a change. Is Kiplings advice useful still?...... I believe it is, because if we did do the things different then in this poem, we would have way more depressed people in the world,and everyone would probably be more angery.

How does being able to write change Christy's life?

Being able to write will change Christy's life from what it was like before, to a whole new world.Writing gives Christy a chance to finally communicate with his family,after so long of them not having a clue of what he was thinking or if he understood, and to see what he actually wanted.It shows he does have a sence of control and thats new for him.And along with that He now has more oppertunitie's like if he wanted too he could become a famous writer.Being able to write was a great thing for Christy to learn, because of learning this, Christy's life will never be the same.
